The Teddies come in two designs ‘Basil’ and Toby’ and are available in many different colours. They are quite unique as each bear is named after a property in the Tambo district giving them claim to fame to some of the oldest settled country in Queensland. They can be dressed as ‘True Blue’ Aussies in moleskin pants, check shirt, plaited belt, Bear-as –a-bone, hat and swag – so move over Paddington Bear!
We have launched another in our limited edition “Settler Series” and the year 2000 will see ‘Hamilton’, a very distinguished individual, take pride of place. Each year we make a different Limited Edition teddy (100 only) that are named after a family that settled the area. We have already made "Biddulph", "Bredhauer", "Turnbull","Martin", "Russell" - next year, 2006, will see another new teddy which will not be released until about April.
