At Tambo Teddies, we believe that every teddy bear we create carries a piece of love, warmth, and comfort. Recently, we had the privilege of partnering with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation (HDF) to bring that same comfort to children in need across the Northern Territory.

Through a generous donation, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation was able to purchase 250 of our handcrafted small Basil bears, each with the HDF logo embroidered on their paws. These special bears are destined for the children of the Northern Territory, to provide comfort during tough times.

Where the Bears Have Gone

Our journey with HDF began with the delivery of 250 teddy bears (a whole pallet!) to Katherine Hospital, but that was just the beginning! From there, these special bears were shared with several health clinics and departments, reaching children far and wide across the Northern Territory. The bears were sent to:

• Pine Creek Health Clinic
• Numbulwar Health Clinic
• Borroloola Health Clinic
• Robinson River Health Clinic
• Emergency Department, Katherine Hospital (for evac children only)
• Children’s Ward, Katherine Hospital

Each bear was not only a soft and cuddly companion but also a symbol of care and support for children facing health challenges.

A Small Bear with a Big Impact

For children in the Northern Territory, many of whom are live in very remote areas, these teddy bears represent more than just a toy—they are a source of comfort in difficult times. Whether it’s a hospital stay, a clinic visit, or being part of an emergency evacuation, the sight of a friendly Tambo Teddy will ease the anxiety of little ones and bring smiles to their faces.

We are incredibly proud to have played a part in this heartwarming initiative, and we are grateful to the Humpty Dumpty Foundation for their dedication to making a difference in the lives of children.
