Choosing your ‘Forever Bear’

When step into a Teddy Bear Store, choosing the best bear is a delightful task, but one that can also be a bit daunting.  At Tambo Teddies, we love helping you choose just the right forever bear narrowing down the options with a few easy questions.

Are you thinking of a traditional looking bear? Then a Basil Tambo Teddy will be the best match. Our honey basils fit the bill of traditional Ted, with their pointy nose, round ears, and rounded belly, they make great companions. Happy to sit on the bed or a special shelf or to hang out with the friend at play, joining in on the tea parties, blocks, puzzles and games.

Or would you prefer a teddy who is cuddly, super soft, and suitable to sleep with from birth? Then you would be chasing one of our Softies. Our Softies are the original Tambo Toby bear style, with straight legs, a chunky body, wide eyes, and large ears place at the side of their head. Softies come in the neutral tones of cream, camel, honey, and latte but can also be requested in pink and blue.

If you are looking for a fun or funky teddy bear friend, then Tambo Teddies Patchwork Tobies are the go. Our Patchies come in a kaleidoscope of colour combinations including bright purple, lime green orange and red. Three-way colour combos can also include the more muted neutral tones, creating the most beautiful bears.

Of course, sometimes choosing their forever bear for the newest member may lead you to select one of our soft and lovable flat formed Bickie bears to be snuggled at night-time. Once a little one has taken to their Bickie, they often cuddle them through the night until they are quite a lot older and the Bickie is looking slightly worse for wear, quite often caring a few bald spots!

Whatever your preference, we have a bear for you at Tambo Teddies, all our bears are made from the softest sheepskins we can find. And we can’t wait to help you find your ‘Forever Bear’, choosing him with love for either yourself or someone you love. As we hand him over, we know our bears will form a special bond with their new owner, after all………
