We’re celebrating the first ever Made in Australia Week!

Running from Monday May 24 through to Sunday May 30, this initiative is being championed by the Australian Made campaign. Made in Australia Week is actively encouraging shoppers to focus their buying activities on genuine Aussie products, like Tambo Teddies !

This is the first-ever  Made in Australia Week and shoppers are urged to say ‘g’day’ to one extra locally made or grown product per week. Buying Australian products will help boost the country’s economy over the next 12 months.

Recent research has identifies if every household spent an additional $10 a week on Australian Made products, it would inject an extra $5 billion into the economy each year and create up to 11,000 new jobs. Well, that says it all, supporting Australian Made, supports Australia!

Consumer research from Roy Morgan shows the preference for Australian goods continued to increase in 2020.  93% of Australians stated they are more likely to buy products made in Australia which was an increase from 87% in 2019.
