Being a local business means a lot to us. Local businesses are important to the community, but the community is even more important to us! This is the reason Tambo Teddies loves to be part of community events and we recently organised one ourselves.

We invited Santa to come over and visit our store in Tambo to meet our lovely locals. With Santa coming to town and visiting Tambo Teddies for a magical photo session, the holiday month started off with a bang. We transformed the store into a Christmas wonderland, and it was almost like being in Santa’s living room!

We are not sure who enjoyed sitting on Santa’s lap most, but adults and children were both excited to meet Santa and pose for a photo together. Surrounded by a great variety of our Tambo Teddies beauties, like our cute little endearing Echidna, our playful Peter Possum, the loveable Lambo from Tambo to the grand Goliath, our cuddly toys put a smile on everyone’s face. Not to forget, our blissful Basil and trusty Toby Bears were part of the show to make it picture perfect!

Not only did we have our own event, but we were also very fortunate to be part of and sponsor the Tambo childcare colour run. It was a fun opportunity to raise money to support a necessary service in a small community. Alison, Malcolm & Dylan were happy to get amongst it and they were great at handling the red paint guns! The route was along the beautiful Coolibah Walk along the banks of the Barcoo River (now enjoying the generous rainfall) and it was amazing to see everyone coming together.

We are very grateful for our Tambo Teddies supporters, and we wish to share even more of these feel wonderful moments with you in 2022.
