This week, News Australia launched the ‘Back Australia: It’s Good For All Of Us’ initiative, a nationwide campaign aimed at uniting consumers and businesses to help build a stronger, more prosperous future for all Australians.
The campaign, launched by News Corp Australasia Executive Chairman Michael Miller, is more than just a slogan. It’s a movement to remind Australians that every purchase, every partnership, and every choice matters.
Through inspiring stories and practical guidance, Back Australia encourages us all to support local industries, strengthen communities, and celebrate Australian excellence. When we choose Australian-made, we’re not just helping businesses, we’re investing in our country’s future.

The Back Australia campaign will run until April 2026, reaching over 18.8 million Australians, with research showing that 12.8 million are already ready to get behind the cause. The initiative is built around three key content pillars:
- Consumer Guidance – Practical advice on how your everyday spending choices support Australian jobs, sustainability, and economic resilience.
- Community Impact – Real stories from businesses making a difference across Australia.
- Expert Insights – Perspectives from industry leaders and policymakers on strengthening Australian manufacturing and driving meaningful reform.
Australian Made: More Than a Logo
Australian Made Chief Executive, Ben Lazzaro, summed it up perfectly:
