Tambo Teddies are helping the Australian Koala Foundation.

We have formed a partnership with the Australian Koala Foundation to help our native koalas in the wild.

In 2012, the Koala was listed as ‘vulnerable to extinction‘; Koala populations are rapidly declining due to habitat loss, leaving them vulnerable to disease and wild dogs. Koalas used to be seen around Tambo, but over the past decade sightings have become fewer and fewer.

So at Tambo Teddies  we decided it was time to do our bit and we have pledged to donate $2.00 from every natural sheepskin Koala and Koala Bickie we make to the foundation so they can continue their great work.

Dedicated to the conservation and effective management of the wild koala and its habitat, the Australian Koala Foundation is a non-profit, non-government organisation. AKF undertake a range of activities including research, lobbying law makers and their ‘adopt a koala’ or joey program.
